Majorly, It is made up of Polypropylene woven fabric and BOPP film.

Majorly, they are made up of non-woven fabric and BOPP film.

It is a type of fabric obtained from weaving of PP tapes into warps (vertical strands) and wefts (horizontal strands).

It is a type of fabric obtained from PP through melting process. It feels like paper/cloth.

It is an additional layer over woven fabric which is done using melted PP polymer. It provides strength to the bag and is also used to bond BOPP film with woven fabric, in case of BOPP bags.

It is an additional layer beneath BOPP film which give bags a metallized finish or stiffness for better appearance.

BOPP stands for Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene. It is a very thin layer of Poly-Propylene on which the matter is printed. It is then flipped and pasted on to the top of the bag so that printed matter gets sandwiched between BOPP and fabric. BOPP possesses various aesthetic and durability properties.

We use reverse rotogravure printing technique for printing on BOPP film. This technique provides excellent finish and long life to the printed matter. For non-BOPP woven bags, we use Flexographic Printing.

This is a method which involves printing on the inner side of the BOPP film using electro-mechanically engraved cylinders on fully automatic printing machines. This process ensure that the ink never comes in contact with anything, preventing scratches, scrapes and fading of the printed matter. The print stays safe and attractive for longer period of time.

Flexographic printing involves printing directly on the laminated/un-laminated fabric using flexible photopolymer printing plates wrapped around rotating cylinders on a web press. The inked plates have a slightly raised image to transfer the image to the substrate/fabric.

A cylinder is round, tube shaped structure which is used for printing. It picks color from the color tray and pastes it on the film, rotating around it. The design which we want to print, must be engraved on the cylinder so that it can pick color in required fashion for clear printing.

Lis short form for Layer

  • 1 Layer bag consists of - Fabric
  • 2 Layer bag consists of - Fabric + Extrusion lamination
  • 3 Layer bag consists of - Fabric + Extrusion lamination + BOPP
  • 4 Layer bag consists of - Fabric + Extrusion lamination + Adhesive Lamination + BOPP
  • 5 Layer bag consists of - Extrusion lamination + Fabric + Extrusion lamination + Adhesive Lamination + BOPP

This method involves electronically controlled diamond-stylus which cuts the surface of the cylinder as per the design, entered into the computer

  • Matt finish
  • Gloss & Matt finish combo

Gusset means the side of the bag which could be expanded to increase the volume of the bag.

Perforation means creating small holes in a specific section of the bag or entire bag which allows air to circulate through the bag, keeping material fresh. These holes can be of different sizes depending upon customer requirements.

A window is a section of the bag which is transparent and allows material inside the bag to be seen from distance, without opening/flipping the bag, for better customer presentation and promotion. It is quite helpful if your product is a modern trade item, where space provided for display is very small.

There are two types of window : Side window (gusset side) and register window (front or back of the bag).

There are four types of handles available:

  • PP+BOPP
  • Plastic
  • Narrow Woven Fabric (NWF)
  • D-Cut

Handles can be stitched in a regular way or with cross stitch pattern / attached using ultrasonic sealing / punched in (D-cut).

It is a technique which involves heat and pressure to be applied on both the surfaces which are to be joined, after bringing them in contact to each other at desired position.

Top Hemming involves a double chain of thread to be used to fold and stitch the top portion of the bag so as to prevent fraying of Tapes.

EZ-open is a mechanism which allows quick and easy opening of the bag by just pulling the pull tape apart. It is so easy and convenient that it can be done in less than 5 seconds by using merely two fingers.

A pull tape is a long-narrow strip of (printed/plain) BOPP laminated woven fabric, which is stitched above the Crip tape for EZ-open feature.

A Crip tape is just like pull tape but a bit wide and is used to seal the mouth of the bag by folding it half, horizontally, from the center on both the face sides of the mouth of the bag.

Yes you can! We do make EZ-open with handle.

Liner is a transparent bag which is placed inside these PP/BOPP bags to prevent moisture to reach to the material inside the bag

Yes. We do have color/print options in liners.

It can either be stitched to the bottom of the bag or can be left loose i.e. without stitch
